Description
Mesi IS smiling, Leon is just surprised by random snuggle and never smiles anyway
I wanted to draw some macro micro, may need to make it more macro/micro before I'm happy but here you go anyway.
I just chose my big giant fishie and the only small thing he is friend's with is Mesi so she is there too.
Tried a different style with the hair, also tried to do wave light refraction on the skin but it failed

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's very nice for your style and very sweet. The colors and shading are simple, but that's not always a bad thing. The markings on Mesi's tail could be a bit smoother to illustrate the depth, and her hair could use a little more substance to it. However, the colors and lineart are very good as usual, and you show a lot of strength in getting the proportions of the image accurate. One thing I must point out is the fact that the hair isn't defined with lineart, while the skin is. This causes a bit of a clash with the different parts of the body, and makes it seem a bit competitive between the skin and the hair. If possible, the lineart should be more dull or there should be a slight outline to the hair to make transitioning a bit better.
